Zafirah had a rather interesting start to her life - while her mother's blue won a greenflight at Western Weyr, K'nan was not the only rider to be dragged along, for L'ton was as well. Surprisingly, while the greenrider Ina became pregnant, so did K'nan. She has been raised by her mother at Eastern Weyr, and is growing to enjoy the tropics as she grows into a happy child.

Silky black hair falls in gentle waves down to her shoulders, the ends are trimmed neatly and her bangs frame her face and bring out the green hints in her hazel eyes. She's got a pert little nose that has a slightly upturned tip and though her lips are a little thin, they tend to curve in a smile.
